Default Thumbs Up - Tom Saades Camera House Parramatta

Just wanted to give a good rap to Tom Saades Camera House in Parramatta. I bought my Pentax K100D Super there around 2-3 months ago and received great information and customer service.

I went back today and purchased a Pentax K20D which is the latest Pentax release. I also got fantastic service and great advice (I have researched the body thoroughly and new what I wanted) with getting the correct lens for what I wanted. They also came up with a package specifically for me on the spot which was really appreciated. I ended up with:

K20D Body - $1699 reduced to $1600
Tamron 28-300mm LD 62mm Lens - $599 Reduced to $299
Lowepro Bag - $99 Reduced to $79
+ Free Tamron Skylight Filter

All up it only cost $1979 and a very happy customer which will return next time.

Thumbs up for selling you Pentax? You're kidding?

If you're serious about your photography, you would have done some more research and bought either Canon or Nikon.

Different strokes for different folks Mick... I'd stroke a Canon over a Nikon any day

Nick,

Do you mind me asking why you bought a Pentax over a Canon or Nikon?

I just found out that the missus is going to surprise me with a new Nikon D300 coupled with a Nikon 80-400mm VR lens. This will replace my Nikon D70 with Sigma 18-200mm lense. I guess my not-so-subtle hints really paid off. Bad thing is that I know it's here but I can't actually get it till Tuesday week.
