Default YSSY Ground Vehicles

Hi there,

Is there a complete list of ground vehicles at YSSY? I'm under 10 km from the airport and my ADS-B receiver picks up a lot of ground vehicles, but I have no way of identifying them. Over December, these are the ground vehicles that have shown up in my ADS-B logs: 7CF3A2, 7CF3C9, 7CF3CA, 7CF3CC, 7CF3CD, 7CF3CE, 7CF3D0, 7CF3D1, 7CF3D2, 7CF43A, 7CF43B, 7CF43C, 7CF43D, 7CF43F, 7CF441, 7CF442, 7CF443, 7CF444, 7CF445, 7CF449, 7CF44C, 7CF44D, 7CF44E, 7CF450, 7CF451, 7CF452, 7CF453, 7CF455, 7CF456, 7CF457, 7CF459, 7CF45A, 7CF45B, 7CF45C, 7CF45D, 7CF45E, 7CF45F, 7CF460, 7CF468, 7CF46B, 7CF46C, 7CF46E, 7CF470, 7CF47B, 7CF47C, 7CF47D, 7CF47E, 7CF47F, 7CF480, 7CF481, 7CF484, 7CF485, 7CF49D, 7CF4A2, 7CF4A3, 7CF4BB, 7CF4BC, 7CF4BD, 7CF4C2, 7CF4D0, 7CF4D3. There might be some erroneous entries in the logs, however.

I also get these, which I assume are the radars: 7CF7BC, 7CF7BD, 7CF7BE, 7CF7BF, 7CF7CA, 7CF7CB, 7CF7CC and sometimes, 7CF7CD.

Easton, have a squiz at this thread http://www.yssyforum.net/board/showthread.php?t=9535 and look at the last couple of pages. There's some info matching vehicles with codes. It's not complete, but it may help you marry some of them up.

Cheers
Nigel

Thanks for that, Nigel. I had already seen your post.

I was hoping that the ground vehicles might have a standard way of translating the ICAO code to the registration, as with the VH-xxx registrations.

I know ATC can see what call-sign is used, and I believe the individual codes and associated call-signs were sent to Airservices for inputting into the ground radar system.
