Default Qantas "Good Friday" Charity Flight

On Friday, as its a public holiday in Melb, the annual "Qantas Good Friday" Flight will occur. We still go to BNE for the day, and up to the Australia Zoo, then home.

What I was questioning, is that the Plane is a QF 767, but which rego??
Is there a spare 767 that is available for the whole day on Friday
As its a early flight (8am), a overnighter 767 then mabye???, departing DOMESTIC 1

Really appreciate feedback guys!

(I will be on this flight by the way!)

It is pretty safe to say that it is a public holiday in every state and territory in Australia...

Excellent news Nige!

I'm happy to report I will be paid double time and a half now that Nigel has confirmed it is a public holiday in Sydney! Oh wait, Nige, does that apply to Wollongong as well?

You might like to read up on the purpose of the flights...they aren't because its a public holiday or because its good friday...the flights are run in conjunction with the Royal Childrens Hospital good friday appeal...all proceeds go towards the appeal

I know, thats the reason i was doing it(help out the kids), anyway i had an awseome day, would anyone like to see a trip report on this great day, managed to get a few pic here and there
We also raised:
-$102,000!!! in total of the flight
-and sold $2000 worth of raffle tickets on board
- Thousands of dollars from a silent auction

A great cause
