Interesting topic!
I'm swinging both ways in up dating my rubbish Sony set with either Canon 7D or Nikon D7000.

Ive read 100's of reviews for each and both have there pro'z and con'z!

Personally if I was going start fresh I would choose canon but since I have have a massive set of nikon lens I am stuck to nikon.

Yes I have massive investment in Sigma lenses for the Minolta brand hence had to convert to Sony after there take over of Minolta camera's. Sony camera's are useless to noisy not sharp and a massive dust magnet in side the CCD?!

Time for a complete over haul

I love my Sony with its SAL70400G lens. What Sony kit are you using?

Perhaps its the Sigma lenses.
