Somewhat related to the content from a link in the "These People Really Love to Fly" thread;

I was wondering if anyone else has a superstition when it comes to flying (passenger or crew)...

I always "pat" the outside of the aircraft as I board... And right hand only...

I used to pat the aircraft before I boarded. Then suddenly 4 months ago I stopped. I don't why?

Although the right hand thing isn't a biggy for me. So long as the aircraft gets a little pat everything will be OK!
