The choice is United or VA B777 to LAX return. Which would you choose now that UA has updated craft servicing the route

virgin they have better seats and entertainment across all class's and united service does live up to its reputation of being rude and bland
so virgin would be the go |

My domestic experiences with United were absolutely horrid, so I can only imagine their international service being just as bad

Just going to chuck my 2 cents in, my girlfriend and her family flew United to and from LAX in November/December and also around the US domestically, they had really positive things to say about them, I guess one mans trash is another mans treasure.

I've done a few internal flights with United and found them okay. It's the attitude of the disgruntled old boilers in the cabin that's a bit disconcerting (similar to an airline closer to home). I just zone out. Otherwise the flights were okay. I'm doing about 10 more sectors next month on United and will see how it goes
![]() I'm travelling full fare to the US next month and considered using United (a few $ cheaper), but the loyalty factor won out. Flying with VA. Interestingly, there was no more than about $20 difference between the various airlines' fares at the time I booked. |
