We'll need another get together to hold some memorial drinks or something when that happens

Rhys

I forget the exact wording but according to the latest CASA Register update which I received yesterday, VH-EBU has been removed from the register (or words to that effect).

So perhaps its very close to getting scrapped.

Pretty sure that EBU has had its interior and electronics, etc completley stripped. All usebale parts such as engines are gone. Plenty of useful metal (Aluminium) here. Maybe EBU's artwork could be transferred to an A380 or a 747-400, who knows?

I'd like to see the artwork on something else - I've always preferred it to Wunula. Maybe because I'm a coastal boy...

I understand EBU was struck off the Australian register on May 1.

Gordon Reid has more details in July's Traffic column in Australian Aviation.

If you wait long enough, you could be drinking those drinks out of parts of EBU...
