JAL is to announce the FY2009/10 operational plan in 2-3 weeks, so the change may become a reality.

Wow 747 down to a 767 on the BNE route.... a big drop in capacity!

I wonder if this is also as a result of OOL now having direct flights?

Guess its good news for QF/JQ.

Both QF and JQ said last month that loads were improving on the Japan routes, hence the increase to daily on the OOL-NRT-OOL route.

Not really. The downgrade in equipment affects QF, as they codeshare with JAL.

I think JL gave up Kansai - Osaka to JQ and after checking out the Syd Airport site, JL doesn't even appear to code share on a destination not too long ago serviced by Japan's 743s.

So does anybody know if March 29th is still the day where the equipment will change to 772 ER to Syd, because that is what the JAL site says?

Thanks in advance
