One of my favourite angles at Sydney, if you can get in tight enough on a good day and catch the jet wash - just a bit to hot on Saturday (HL7596).


LAN CC-CQC The other issue on bright hot days is the glare of a white fuselage (sometimes other colours).

Thought I would try some different angles, these three are from the Ikea Car Park - an hour or so later would have been better light wise. A little surprised
how small the engines look from this angle.

QF6031 just took off for Phoenix (VH-OEJ). What's the story?

My guess is some kind of charter linked to the visiting Arizona Diamond back baseball team , who I believe have their home base in Phoenix AZ..

I believe both the MLB teams came out here on separate QF charters.

There are reports (on Flightaware) that VH-OEJ will be heading the storage/scrap yard after this flight!

And my built in BS meter just went into overdrive!!!

On a side note, three United 744s tomorrow, UAL840 diverted to CBR due SYD wx and she is yet to leave here!
