Well that is VERY interesting considering their forecast only 3 weeks ago, unless they truly believe they are only going to make $30Mill for next six months $160M turn around is a fair effort though

Brett noted he was expecting, as always, the last six months to be worse than the first six given different traffic spikes. If you'd like more info let me know and I'll try to pull that bit from the audio.

Just went onto the Boeing website and this is in the news section.

Quote:
Boeing [NYSE: BA] is delighted that Virgin Blue has selected the Boeing Next-Generation 737 for the replacement and expansion of its single-aisle fleet.

We look forward to working with Virgin Blue to finalize the order, at which time it will be posted to the Boeing Orders and Deliveries Web site.

Cheers
Matt

Not bad - a bigger 1/2 yearly profit than the much larger Qantas group.

The way i read the article, Godfrey said that he is looking at the 737-900.

So that is very exciting! Just hope they have a special livery maybe a Boeing House Colour 737 (just a thought)

Cheers
Matt

VOG left the end of December and is currently in full Orenair colours outside the JH Hangars here at MEL and VOH finished around a week ago and will also follow suit heading to Orenair.
