Airbus A350XWB certified
Airbus has announced certification of the A350-900 with Rolls Royce engines by the EAS. FAA expected to follow shortly.
http://www.airbus.com/newsevents/new...certification/ Congrats to Airbus on a well run flight test program! Can't wait to see more of those sexy winglets! Some key points: * 268t and 275t MTOWs * not yet ETOPS / EDTO certified * common pilot type rating with A330 Also check out the photos and videos of ALL FIVE prototypes in formation at www.airbus.com - click on Gallery! Good to see the A350 shares the same type rating as the A330. Much like the 787 and 777 share a common type rating.
I see my future at some point in these aeroplanes, :-). Mick |

Ha, I wish. When I say 'my future', I'm talking years down the track if/when I go overseas. Probably going to be a highly sought after aircraft.
