737 depressurisation out of Auckland

A Jetconnect Qantas New Zealand Boeing 737-300, registration ZK-JND performing flight QNZ-116/QF-116 from Auckland (New Zealand) to Brisbane,QL (Australia) with 91 people on board, climbed out of Auckland and had already reached FL250, when the crew noticed that the "cabin altitude" continued to climb slowly above target altitude (indicating a slow loss of cabin pressure). The crew decided to return to Auckland, where the airplane landed safely.

A replacement aircraft reached Brisbane with a delay of 4.5 hours.

Qantas NZ said, that the passengers would not have felt the pressurization problem.

A full emergency was declared at NZAA for its return.

The aircraft was observed doing a test flight out of NZAA this morning (Sunday).
