Do we know if a spotting weekend 2015 is being organised? Have missed the last 2 so would love to get to one.

Hi George,

There are no plans for an 'official' Spotting Weekend in 2015 at this stage.
If and when something generates, the forum will be updated with the relevant information.

I believe that before any spotting weekend can happen, history shows that a night at the DoG (Duke of Gloucester Hotel, Randwick) for a juicy steak and a couple of ales need to be consumed first.

It is there that the planning committee, made up of all the members on this forum, begin discussion to decide the dates and proposed activities.

It would only be the initial planning phase that gets discussed in the school holidays, if I or someone else can organise a suitable time. Any proposed spotting weekend would be held sometime after that at a yet-to-be-determined date.
