I've been out at wellcamp for the last 6 months and the 777's have been moved around, both VPD and VPH have been uncovered, engine changes and APU runs have been conducted, hydraulic testing completed too. No concrete time of their departures but looking like they'll be leaving soon though.

The VA 777's left in Oz should be flown out by the years end. That was the plan anyway.
The A332 in Perth will have the landing gear replaced in the near future and it too will be flown out.

Interestingly, according to FlightAware, she made the trip across the US below FL250 too, which was a similar situation to what happened earlier in the year...

Has joined sistership VPF in DOH - is she also to Qatar?
(rumours on FB that one or both of the 77Ws in WTB are due to Qatar as well...)

Qatar is already leasing 77W from CX to cover for the parked A350s. Adding capacity via cheap leases may be a good option for them to use these ex-VA bird.
