The multi-level car park at YSSY International Terminal?
Most of you would already be aware of the dual-tower multi-level car park at YSSY International.
I'm interested in getting information on the structure. It seems it was built (or re-built) a few years ago, and then extra floors were added - from 9 up to 12 levels, I think. Does anyone have information on its construction date, the date of the upper floor extensions, car parking capacity, cost to build, etc? I think one of those two car parking towers is off-limits and for aviation staff only, while the other is used by the general public. Is this correct? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. |

In broad terms, P6 is for staff parking.
However, there is a road bridge link at L4 from P7 (also peds on L2 and both on L8, although you can't access L8 of P7 by car fomr within P7. I'm not sure whether there are pay faculities for the public to exit from P6 any longer. By pushbike, you can access L1 of P7 via the bridge, ride up to L7, jump the kerb to get up to L8 and cross to P6, then up the ramps to P12. No idea on construction. The double helix ramps in P6 are nice. |

Thanks, Kent.
I assume 'L' and 'P' are the two names for the two towers? |

P for parking, L for level. P6 has 12 levels, P7 has 8 levels.
