Melbourne Diversions - 28th Sep
Due to the extreme weather today DJ1590 (NTL-MEL) has diverted, unsure to where though.
A few other flights are looking to divert to ADL or CBR.

1590 went CBR Oliver, as did a Tiger flight.
2 ANZ's were popping about for a bit- I think they made it to MEL in the end, a JQ went back to Tasmania, and as you say most went to CBR. Awesome to be able to hear liveatc nowadays with ops and dispatch interfaced into the feed and watch whats happening in real time |

An A380 is operating SYD/MEL today to clear the backlog.
Anyone know what gates they would be using? Are the domestic terminals in SYD and MEL A380 capable? |

Wouldn't have thought so Sarah... perhaps parking at international and putting the big 'D' stickers on boarding passes for Customs etc? Which flights are A380 on?
Where on the net is the live atc guys? Cheers |

Hey guys.
There's currently a 744 (OEF) as QF6018 en-route from Melbourne to Sydney on flightradar24. Is it a regular empty transfer or clearing the backlog? Noticed earlier (before I was aware there were any disruptions) another 744 operating Syd to Mel. Last edited by Ben Smith; 29th September 2011 at 06:23 PM. Reason: deleted stupid question |

Thanks Jayden How cool is it!
Just heard a "Qantas 7334" - anyone know what that is? Not one of their usual flight number series (ie neither scheduled nor ferry)? |
