Just noticed that there was a fedex flight this morning as FX91 (Memphis-Honolulu-Sydney). Have Fedex changed their flight numbers or was this an additional flight.

Saw it there this morning (N523FE) and it was pushing back as I was leaving; yes not a normal flight no. and early departure (as FX91).

T'was an additional service.

He went to Hong Kong from Sydney, as opposed to CAN (Guangzhou) which is where FDX077 goes.

There is additional FedEx flight coming in this morning (17th). FDX29 which usually operates MEM-ANC-HKG however is operating MEM-HNL-SYD-HKG due in around 0730 local. Rego is N617FE.
Any reason why the HKG flights are occasionally coming through Syd now? Or is it just to meet Christmas demand?

Schedule through to the end of the year. The two digits at the start are the local departure / arrival date, and the following four digits are the local departure / arrival time.

The data comment on this mornings flight is it was a re-route and reschedule through HNL due SYD backlog.
