Polair on Lane Cove River

Hey All,

there's a Polair chopper orbiting about the Lane Cove river just now (2006AEST), just wondering if anyone knows what it's doing?

Had the search light on an all bells and whistles going (police lights also flashing). Looked brilliant, although my photo of it just looked like a christmas tree on speed....

Any info would be great.
