QF 763s CBR
Which QF flights out of CBR are normally scheduled as 767s?
I understand every now and then a 763 will sub for a 737 on SYD-CBR |

It would be once in a blue moon that a 763 is subbed on the Sydney - Canberra route. I have only seen it a handful of times, 2 of which were to coincide with the Canberra airport open day, so the 767 flew QF787 to Canberra and stayed before returning to Sydney as QF562.
If you wanted a 767 then Melbourne - Canberra routes are the best best. I know they do Mon - Wednesday on QF804 / QF811 and it seems every sunday, they do QF821 / QF822, the last flight to and from Melbourne. Tonight there is a 767 operating, probably to clear the blacklog from Tiger. Hope this helps. The only other time I have seen a 767 in Canberra on subbed routes is a Brisbane service which was for about 2 weeks and an Adelaide service which was to carry dignitries for a conference. Alex. |

QF804/811 rotation is done by a 763 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Melbourne. Other days it is operated by 737s of both varieties.
Apart from that the 767 is a rare sight in Canberra, occasionally another Melbourne rotation will be swapped to a 767 but that is it. Only times I have heard of 767s operating SYD-CBR was for the open day and also the time when the airport was closed from about 7pm with fog and none of the overnighters got in except for one Q400. Beaten by Alex...lol
