This is the one that is used for flights to Antarctica from Hobart (i think its from hobart) to the ice runway near Casey station..Wilkins runway. FYI its the largest runway in "Australia" at just over 4 km

Ahh, I've been wondering what that aircraft is that I've seen quite a bit lately over at the Melbourne maintenance area (visible from the staff car park). I've only been able to make out that it is an A320/319 with a little lick of orange on a plain-coloured tail. I just thought it was some VIP that visits town regularly or something?!

The aircraft is based in Melbourne and resides near the John Holland hangers when not in use.
I saw it doing touch and go flying out at Avalon the other week. |

Should be good when we get a couple of Tigers A319's arriving down under soon. Then all we need is an A318 and we have the whole Family in MEL
