Post mel-syd rego 24/3

hi all,

im at melbourne airport at the moment waiting for my flight this evening back to Sydney as DJ881. A DJ staff member offered to put me on an earlier flight so i was wondering if anything special, like VH-VBY or a AFL decal aircraft is going to operate any mel-syd flights today? much appericated if anyone has any info

no Virgin blue SYD-ML flights today according to ACARS

Not everything shows on ACARS Ryan however most things are on there. Most Virgin flights don't show up, don't know why.

Most probally because a majority of the DJ aircraft are not ACARS equipped.

The Embraers have ACARS im pretty sure, but don't use it very often(someone could confirm) and the 77W's use ACARS quite frequency for processing of takeoff performance and company coms etc.

I have heard around that VHYFC will be ACARS equipped, if not that, definately Sat-Phone but not completely sure/or confirmed.

i sure did brock, i checked around on the internet and saw that VBY, VUY, VUZ and the hybrids were nowhere near a mel-sydd flight today so i just stuck with dj861 was very delayed though
