Been in service five minutes and heard a whisper that it's already having "issues"

Really Martin, tell us more about these issues you speak of?

It is not at all uncommon for new aircraft to experience teething/technical issues during initial EIS (Entry Into Service) flying.

From memory the EIS of the A340-500 for Emirates was an experience they'd rather forget! I recall reading an interview in the most reputable aviation blurb in the land with Tim Clarke that the A380 EIS must be nothing like that of the A345.

Glitches happen, with any new product. I once purchased a portable stereo from JB Hi-Fi, plugged it in and it fried itself.......... such is life!

I don't post much in this forum and this is why. It's good to ignite debate and see what others think, but to be condescending just irritates me.

Mate, the main point of Craig's post was just to find out what issues you say OQF is having.

Martin, they call people who do what you did in your first post "TROLLS".

If you know something, say it..... if not, then best not to post at all.

Craig had every right to say what he said.

If you really did hear a "whisper" then provide in detail so people can actually be informed.

Martin, If your going to walk into an open forum and post unsubstantiated rumours and innuendo then your going to get slapped down quite quickly.

All sorts of people read this forum including the local media, it's dangerous to say anything about things that affect the general public without some sort of validation.

Thanks Stephen. I was sort of hoping someone else heard what I knew. The reason being what I was told, only a very small circle of people would know about I presume. I don't want to get my source in the **** so to speak.

I'll PM you.

You don't have to expose your source, alot of guys on here post some amazing insider info withour revealing who told them.

The simple fact is, anything that -OQF is experiencing in it's early life is probably nothing different to A, B, C, D and E.

Unless the engines are falling off or the wings are on backwards it probably won't raise many eyebrows.
