9V-SVC (B777-200ER) is operating SQ219 this evening, estimated to arrive at 20:05.

On the other hand, for the next four days (10 - 13Nov), SQ231 will be operated by a B777-300ER in place of the lone B773A (9V-SYF) which has been operating this SQ231/232 rotation for a while now. It looks like, at this point in time, 9V-SWQ will be here tomorrow morning.

Then will B773ER operate on SQ 231/232 permanently? If not, does anyone know which day(s) in early January will use B773ER?

I just find out there's almost no economy seats available on the first 6 day of 2010 to Singapore. So will Singapore Airlines deploy 1 or 2 extra A380 or other planes to ferry passengers to Singapore during X'mas to meet the demand?

(Using Galileo)... To be honest, there is like zero Y class out of most Australian cities on SQ on many, many dates in Nov, Dec & Jan... God help you if you can find a seat on SQ. I have heard nothing about extra capacity. SQ is not alone in this category. As a travel agent, I just tell people we can look at what's available, and start hunting. It looks like one of the busiest peak seasons (coming up) I have ever seen. London is pushing the $3000 mark on many dates - just check Expedia or Travel.com etc. for comparisons. A distinct lack of seats, even with the huge capacity we currently have out of Australia. Now if you booked months back, you wouldn't have had a problem, and that's the way the airlines like it

...
Nope, the B773ER is not (at least not at the moment) a regular feature on the SQ231/232 rotation. It is only temporarily replacing the regular 9V-SYF (B773A) that is probably in for routine maintenance.
