QF 747-300 To Rome

VH-EBY opperated a service QF155 to Rome Via Singapore this afternoon. Departed at about 5:30(due). Good to see the old girls still doing a long haul service before they finish up for good.

Does anyone know why this service was flown? Also noticed that the Aussie Rowing Team were in-line for Malaysian 122 to KUL this aftenoon.

They are sending the 743 to rome to pick up for World youth day.

Would have been carrying customers of some soort otherwise it would not have operated outbound with that flight number.

Would have been a ferry number if it was empty...

Hi All,

QF 156 Rome via Bangkok is due back tomorrow 9/7 at 17:00 at this stage.

Crew are having a rest day today 8/7.
