Default QF World's longest flight

SQ is dropping SIN-EWR and SIN-LAX meaning that QF will once again hold the title for world's longest non-stop commercial flight (SYD-DFW).

SQ has traded the 345s back to Airbus as part of a new order for more 380/350s.

I wonder what their load factors have been over the past year. Obviously not enough to justify keeping the all Business Class flights.

I'm sure the SQ ultra long hauls would have been popular with the flight crews. Only have to go to work twice a month and your hours are done!

Singapore - EWR have I understand been touch an Go with around 95 average and they need 96, however LAX on the other hand is Down that is why they only get 5 a Week. the EWR flight does pick up a lot of Corp Travellers and not so much the LAX flight just because of the Airport. I know from talking to the Crew they don't enjoy it as much as other flights. One of the problems's for the crew I understand is if they fly to South America they can't fly to the US.
