Just saw it on channel 70 this evening pretty good ad I thought and made me laugh. Love the two hosties getting sprung in the ladies only toilet.

Default New Mega Promo for V Australia

THIS weekend V Australia will launch a brand new national mega advertising campaign to further promote Australia’s newest airline.

Virgin Blue ce, Brett Godfrey believes the airline needs to spend in the current market to create awareness, saying the big focus of the campaign is set apart VA as a different product to Virgin Blue.

A 45 second commercial will air on TV, along with a series of print, billboard and online advertisements, showcasing what pax experience onboard, such as the business class bed & inflight entertainment.

V Australia flight attendants will feature in the ads as “Fly Girls”, as well as Virgin Group’s chairman Sir Richard Branson’s first commerical appearance.

Competitions for consumers will run in conjunction with the ads, and prizes including walk on roles in a music video, tickets to the Grammy awards and red carpet movie premieres are up for grabs.

Virgin is also aiming to get its message on to online booking engines, Twitter and YouTube.

Mr Godfrey said “The next generation of business people are so conversant and fluent in those areas that they’re now the right distribution channels, quite frankly, for a considerable amount of our marketing spend.”

At 1:47 into the video "V Australia's Inaugural Flight to LA" is that Jetstar Julie I see??!!

The TVC is a little tacky but I'm happy to forego that for the exceptional eye candy on offer! Congratulations V Australia!!!!!

The Hamish and Andy one is alright, if you like them that is. Hence why i liked it!
Not a bad ad though, sure are spending a lot and going all out on promotion!
