JST7Z? MEL-SIN 22/3

Hi folks

Am listening to the ASP frequencies an liveatc and heard an aircraft call in as "Jetstar 7Z" which according to flightaware is JST7Z, the A332 MEL-SIN. Anyone know why the 'Z' on the end? It's not delayed, in fact it was bang on time out of MEL, so perhaps some kind of special load, etc?

I am led to believe it has something to do with the tag along service to Beijing... Because the return service is JST8Z...
