Wedderburn Open Day 14 Nov 2011

The NSW Sport Aircraft Club are holding an open day at its Wedderburn Airstrip which is located 15km south of Campbelltown.

It is not an airshow, but there will be lots of aviation activity, with many aircraft flying in for the day, with quite a few of the members aircraft coming and going during the day.

It all starts at 10am on Sunday 14th November, with admission just $2.

They have a website www.wedderburnairstrip.com.au for an information flyer of the event.

While not exactly Sydney Airport, it sounds like a good day to witness more grass roots style aviation, and a chance for people to actually see up close that airstrip they fly over in their airliner on approach to Sydney from the south.
