Who was near the old control tower 17 Aug for Rwy 16R?

Saw a group next to the fence near the beach as I departed about 4.15pm. Fair few of you there. Was there anything exciting coming and going?

Yes i was on a ladder yesteday afternoon from about 1:30pm till 5:30pm with my mates from Hong Kong. Where were you flying to/from and on what aircraft? Ill see if i have a photo.
