The BAE146 was VH-NJZ which I think is now operated by Cobham or still by National Jet. It arrived late yesterday evening and according to my log it has been here nearly every day this week. I'd say it was probably a freight run but stand to be corrected (most arrivals are after curfew with some leaving early morning, these a/c are 'exempt' from curfew hours due to their low noise footprint)

Thanks Peter!
I knew we get AAE 146's at night but VH-NJZ is different and seeing a BAE 146 in daylight around Sydney took me by surprise!
If there is any other daylight flights let me know I'd like to catch a BAE 146.

Will try Shayne but very rare that they leave during the day. I have seen the odd one fly over during daylight but it could be they go tech or are delayed for some other reason.

Peter & Shayne,
It was VH-NJZ which had Cobham titles on it. I was thinking it had gone tech because Cobham had their own ute at the aircraft this afternoon. I noticed that a few engineers were climbing all over it & paying particular attention to the section where the port wing joins the fuselage. I could be completely wrong in thinking that it went tech.

I would say you are correct Jayden that the aircraft went tech.

NJZ has been operating the freight flights during curfew for a little while now in place of NJF(from memory)that must be in maintenance.

Normally here a couple of times a night Mon-Thu.

NJZ departed back to Adelaide yesterday.

Regards.
