Pionair To Get E190
GOAL sells one Embraer E190-100LR aircraft to Pionair Australia
GOAL Aircraft Leasing sold one Embraer E190-100LR aircraft with MSN 19000435 to Pionair Australia Pty Ltd. The aircraft had been leased to a European wet-lease operator and will be ferried to Australia in a few days. GOAL is a joint venture of KGAL GmbH & Co. KG, one of Germany’s leading independent investment and asset managers with an investment volume of €20.5 billion and Deutsche Lufthansa AG, one of the world’s premier carriers. GOAL currently owns and manages 56 aircraft with an investment volume of approximately US$1.8 billion. It has a broad experience in its core business of operating leasing, technical asset management and aircraft remarketing and has proven its professional know- how for more than 20 years. Pionair Australia Pty Ltd is a privately owned Sydney based ACMI and Charter Airline. This is the company’s first E190-E1 aircraft, which will add to the existing fleet of one E190-E2 and eight Bae146 cargo, and passenger aircraft. Thanks, Lloyd |

Yes it is to be based in BNE and start flights in January. My question is If Bankstown is the base of Pionair i don't believe a E190 can land and take off there so will it get delivered to BNE or SYD?

Yes both are to be based at BNE but the main head office is at Bankstown so not sure if they would deliver the E190 VH-SEF there first for look over and pre service maintenance?, but i don't believe the runway is long enough?

1400 is plenty for an E190 into Bankstown, most conditions it looks like a min 1000m is required

Above 20k needs a pavement concession however the runway is designated as heavy, the 190 isn’t far off the BAE-146/F100s operating through there in that context.
