Hi Stefan
I did pick up an unidentified NZ hex code on Mode-S (C806BC) so this could be it. I'll check the Auckland SBS reports to see if it relates. Peter |

Checked today's AKL SBS Log and this was the correct Hexcode for ZK-VAC.
I logged this 'frame' (60) in Wellington Apr'1992 as ZK-NEZ operated by Ansett NZ. |

Anybody know what it's doing or why it's there?

Just logged the Dash 8 overhead St Marys heading towards Parkes or thereabouts. All white from what I could see.

Substituting for the SkyTrans Dash-8 that usually does the Bill Peach Journey's tours around Australia.

Hi Christopher
Do Skytrans have a callsign? I'm pretty sure I heard a flight call up CruiseLink but could very well have been QantasLink. This was about 20 mins after I saw the a/c heading west. |

G'day Peter,
Skytrans use the callsign "Skytrans" followed by a number. Aircruising Australia (even operating with Skytrans Dash 8's), use the callsign "Cruiser" followed by a number. Mick |
