Just 76 & 77 for the -100s, no zero. According to aerotransport.org there were 11 -1xx:

109 - China Airlines
114 - PSA
116 - LAN Chile
123 - American Airlines
134 - Transair Sweden
162 - Pacific Northern
191 - Frontier Airlines
193 - Pacific Airlines/Air California
1A0 - Lloyd Aereo Boliiviano
1F8 - Royal Nepal Airways
1J1 - Dominicana

What did the "EM" stand for? Was it Empire?

Default EM to QF transition

The flight number prefix change from EM to QF appears to have occurred around 1961.
