http://www.flightglobal.com/articles...ient-base.html
Say what? Are they for real? http://www.flightglobal.com/articles...-the-a380.html Well, there's the 200. Aleady a third of the way to 600. They're selling like hotcakes.. and only been on sale for a mere 10 years or so. |

The WFC will make 600 A380 sales a long term project, current customers are probably now more than happy with the delayed deliveries as they struggle with lower PAX numbers and their current fleet.
May not so bad for airlines like Qantas where they can take the opportunity to retire 20 year old aircaraft like OJA etc, and balance the younger B747 / A380 fleet in the short term (OJU is 10 years old).

Would it make sense to convert the pacifc and the newer kangaroo config 744fleet into a J, Y+, Y config to operate the current 2 class routes when the A380 fleet expands further and the 747 fleet is reduced? Most of the ER's are only 5 years old I believe, and as said above -OJU is only 10 years old
