QANTAS Boeing 787-9 VH-ZNF entered service this evening operating QF634 Melbourne – Brisbane.

It looks like that ZND will do the first MEL/SFO flight tomorrow night. It is on the way to LHR at the moment and will arrive back in MEL on QF10 in time. It also seems that ZNF will do the first QF15 tomorrow as it is still doing BNE/MEL/BNE/MEL/BNE. A 789 terminates in BNE at 21.25 tonight and there is no 789 flight BNE/MEL tomorrow morning.

ZNF will spend today in Melbourne and operate QF9 tomorrow, ZNB will take up the remainder of the MEL-BNE flights today and will do QF15 tomorrow. ZNE will position up to BNE to ops the second B789 QF15.

As you suggested ZND will have the honours for the inaugural MEL-SFO QF49

A 789 is showing on Flight Aware - MEL/BNE as QF 628 today, 17.20/19.00 (a bit quick??). Presume this will be ZNE for Sunday's QF15.

628 is showing as operating as a B73H (VXD) and ZNE will be doing a ferry as 6116.

oh ok thanks, but my f/a showed a 789 0n 628??

Ive actually looked again and discovered that there is no QF628 today and the service ops by VXD is tomorrows 628. Flightaware isn't always the most accurate source, this is certainly one of those cases.

Another problem, first ZNF now not due in PER now till 21.13 tonight and also ZNE?? as OEJ continued onto to JFK from LAX on QF11 on Tuesday US time. Both ZND and ZNE in LAX.
