Default Number crunching on second airport

Quote:

The federal government has identified five options for a second Sydney airport as it steps up efforts to meet its deadline for announcing a site by the middle of next year.

It is asking private finance and accounting firms to model the cost of developing different-sized airports in the Sydney region - for instance, whether they would focus on low-cost carriers, or regional routes - for a period up to 50 years.

Wish they had gone ahead with Badgery's Creek. It would have been up and running by now.

Best part - 15 mins from St Clair and depending on which layout they decided on I would have been on the approach path - what noise??
