QF 94 Cancelled today 11th April
QF 94 was showing as cancelled this morning on the Melbourne airport arrivals app. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Diverted to HNL last night, not sure why.

Maybe a maintenance issue as it is there for 18hours.
Due to VH-OQK being in HNL and it not being able to operate today's QF9, VH-OQL is stepping in, soon to operate QF6003 SYD-MEL.

Who pays for the diversion if it is a medical emergency? Lots of people staying overnight in hotels and also Qantas having to ferry another plane from Sydney and back again today.

I would've thought so too Mark. And if they don't my money is on the airline paying the costs associated with the diversion, it's not exactly like they're going to send a bill for a couple of $100,000 to the ill person!!
