Default Refurnished Aircraft Cabins

when airlines refurnished their aircraft what do they do with the previous interiors?
do the just reupholsters them, or sell them?

I understand that QF's domestic revamp is just seat covers plus a bit of other tarting up.

But it can also involve replacement e.g QF 743/744 upgrades to include PTVs etc.

Not sure about Australia, but I know in the UK there are several companies which "remanufacture" and sell old seats e.g. European Aviation http://www.eaac.co.uk/aircraft_inter...F81BA7B44DD621
