Default Helicopter crash near Hay

While nothing has been reported, information I have received the helicopter took off from Broken Hill this morning, crashed on a property near One Tree before 11am. Two onboard have serious injuries and the helicopter destroyed.

Going by FA, N368EV Super Puma departed Broken Hill this early this morning, heading the same direction.

One person confirmed dead after helicopter crash in south-west NSW

Quote:
A person has died after a helicopter crashed in south-west News South Wales this morning.

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) said it received a distress signal from an emergency locator transmitter from a US-registered Super Puma helicopter travelling from Broken Hill to Albury at about 10am.

The ABC understands the crash site is 15 kilometres west of One Tree, near Hay.

Two people were on board and police have confirmed one has died.

The condition of the second person is unknown.

"AMSA tasked a Victorian Air Ambulance … helicopter from Bendigo and the AMSA Essendon-based Challenger rescue aircraft to initiate a search," AMSA said in a statement via NSW Police.
