Interesting aircraft age isn't the only factor when they "retire" a frame. COVID saw frames stored for 18mths-2yrs..., some are still stored.

VUH is currently in MEL getting all it's orginal parts fitted

Dylan, is that part of lease agreement to return original other than broken or wear and tear ?

Usual deal before end of lease or pre sale prep is to put all the high time/cycle parts on and keep the better ones in company stores.

I saw VUH up close in Brisbane recently and looking very shabby. It has had some sort of work done all over it, along the rivets. Paint missing.

Aircraft has to be returned to Lessor with all original components and original engines.

VH-VUI was deleted from VH-Reg on 03/07/2025 as Exported to - United States of America but her flying days are over.

Carried N341CG during storage @ Goodyear/Pheonix AZ from 09/11/2020 to 10/09/2021 (or there abouts)
