AIRVAN Production Restarted

Australian GIPPSAERO GA-8/10 has restarted production in Morwell, Vic.

The first rivet was set into the Keel of GA8 Airvan Serial number 263 on 13/06/2025.

I believe they were sold from Mahindra back into the founding family?

One of the cofounders, sadly Peter Furlong had retired and passed away before this occurred. I remember taking a MD500 out to his place at Flynn back in the day for a Christmas party!

Hopefully they can do something with a Nomad type design in the future, think they still have a N24 in the hanger VH-XGZ. The GA18 with RR turbines
