Default ATPL Theory

Hi Everyone, I'm wanting to do ATPL theory full time, whether be in class or by correspondence (the latter preferred). Would anyone recommend a good school? In class would have to be at BK as I don't want to travel interstate to study.

My choices are:
Advanced Flight Theory - based in Brisbane
Scombe Aviation - Based in Sydney
Avfacts - By correspondence only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

G'day Pav,
You say you don't want to travel interstate, yet you listed Advanced Flight Theory, .

I couldn't speakly highly enough of Advanced Flight Theory (they're actually based at Maroochydore), both from a personal point of view, and also from the never ending list of people who have attended Nathan Higgin's course and praise his teaching style.

I know you'd rather stay in BK, but if you want some of the best ATPL theory training around, then I'd go on a 6 week holiday and make a visit to AFT.

The other alternative is to do it via correspondence. They provide excellent support over the phone, and via the net. You are also provided with practice online exams for each subject.

Go with AFT.

Mick

While I've never used them myself, I've heard nothing but great things about AFT, and would be happy to recommend them on that basis alone!

They're supposedly very thorough, and teach some very good methods for the 'process' subjects like Flight Planning.

I've recently used AFT fora number of ATPL's by corrospondense & one in the class room - I'd highly recommend them.

I've previously completed a couple of subjects with Len Sales (UNSW at BK) and would recommend him as well.
