TG865 today?

Hi all,

Happy New Year! What a night...
Re TG865 - can I expect to see this bird this arvo? I can't find it anywhere and I noticed no records of it flying here the last couple of Tuesdays. Can anyone confirm?

Hendra,

It doesn't look like it is due today, according to flightaware. During the XMAS/New Year cargo flights die down alot especially Singapore, Malaysia and Cathay only maybe 1 flight a week. From what I have seen on FlightRadar 24 FedEx, UPS, Atlas (QF Frieght) have been operating as per normal. Things should be back to normal next week, going by previous years.

Thanks for replying back Stefan. Very informative to know!
What a shame though, that I won't have the opportunity to catch the Thai Cargo whilst I'm on holiday (from work). I'll be back to work next Tuesday, so the timing isn't favourable. Ah well, I'll have to take the day off work one Tuesday next year.

I am also led to believe Thai Cargo will be back in operations to Sydney next week on the 8th Jan.

To add to what Stefan said there should be a lot of cargo airlines inactive around Christmas and New Years. The Tasman Cargo DHL 757 is using this time to go in to maintenance and that'll return 14th Jan so some may take a while to be back to normal ops.
