Virgin Blue Reports $62.5m Profit After Tax
Virgin Blue Holdings Limited today reported a net profit after tax of $62.5 million for the six months to 31 December 2009, compared to a loss of $101.4 million for the prior corresponding period.

Well that is VERY interesting considering their forecast only 3 weeks ago, unless they truly believe they are only going to make $30Mill for next six months $160M turn around is a fair effort though

Not bad - a bigger 1/2 yearly profit than the much larger Qantas group.

The way i read the article, Godfrey said that he is looking at the 737-900.
So that is very exciting! Just hope they have a special livery maybe a Boeing House Colour 737 (just a thought) Cheers Matt |
