ADSB and MMS-2

Many of you on the group run the SBS-1 ADSB units and like me get a lot of information and enjoyment from it.

This is just let you know that the next level of enjoyment is just around the corner, 7 of us here in OZ are part of the Beta testing for MMS-2 which in simple terms let us hook onto other SBS-1s around the world, as it still in testing the main coverage is in Europe, and OZ .

MMS-2 is fully selectable, in that you only look at the area you wish to see, you don't get all 30 users all the time , unless you select all 30 !

Its 8.00am here and 10 or 11pm in Europe, and I am tracking the OZ bound flights from London

Have been tracking all 5 aircraft for over an hour and expect another hour plus till out of range.

At the moment i am tracking 158 aircraft and logged into the feeders from Amsterdam, and two feeders in Poland ,

Not sure just when it goes live , but I will let you know,
