Is there still a possibility that the Dreamliner liveried 787 may do a promotional visit Down Under?

Hi all

I was hoping if someone may be able to shed some light as to whether the 787 will replace the A330 from Brisbane to Singapore and Hong Kong in the future? This may have already been answered previously so my apologies if it has.

Qantas hasn't made any annoucements for which routes will get the 787's. My guess though is the first batch will be used on domestic runs to replace the 767's and A330's will continue to do the OS routes not served by Jetstar.

Running them up and down the east coast will also allow them to rapidly build experience with the new type, before it sees wider use.
