I agree Jarden. I hear SIA 9V-SMU is retiring early 2011. I would like that to appear at Longreach too, nice to have the 1000th 747 out there. I do realise however it is not a Qantas aircraft, just wishful thinking.

If they were to save any -400's from sale or scrapping, you would want them to save -TJE (I would love to see it in Australian livery, quite frankly). However, seeing as though they are old yet looked after and perfectly flyable, I would suspect they would be able to sell them off to airlines in far off locations that cannot afford brand new 737's (Or converted to freighters).
