Its the same on the newly announced Delhi to Birmingham ( UK ) service .. that starts on August 1st and has only just been officially announced too.. Mind you half of Birmingham is Indian so they will probably get good loads out of there

Melbourne Airport website has a media release with the starting dates.

Sydney is now on the Air India website booking section.. Just did a dummy booking SYD- Delhi and it worked out at $1011 rtn ... Didn't check for MEL ..

Evening all,

"Air India has restructured its daily service to Australia to cut losses.
Instead of the Delhi-Sydney-Melbourne triangular flight, Air India will now fly four times a week to Sydney and thrice to Melbourne".
