Default Free Spirit Airlines

Just curious if anybody knows anything in regards to Free Spirit Airlines which will be starting up from Essendon Airport. Had a quick look at their website but does not allow any bookings. Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere.

That's right Shaal. Down the very bottom of the page it states flights will be conducted by West Wing Aviation. However the booking system does not allow you to book. Just a bit strange considering flights are apparently operating less than 3 weeks away.

Website seems to allow dummy bookings, but not until late May. After I finally found the website on the third page of my google search, I did note that everything was subject to regulatory approval.

Wasn't sure Kent if I was the only one that had missed it all. I know it does not affect Sydney but I would have thought a new start up regional airline in Victoria would at least have made a mention somewhere. As you state the website isn't the easiest to find.

I could basically book a flight (Melbourne - Devonport) for $149 one way. I went as far as the credit card page on their website.

Must be my computer, page just ticks back over to the booking engine without giving an option to select flights. Hopefully it does go well for them always good to see a regional airline having a go.

Curious that the ABN belongs to West Wing Av. not Free Spirit, it's one thing to use a service provider's AOC, however there ABN seems fishy...

The ABN on the bottom of the website (52 155 143 338) is registered to FREE SPIRIT AIRLINES PTY LTD (Registered since Jan 2012).

I think where they list ACN 092 553 467, they are just referring to West Wing operating the flights.
