hope it's operational for the Australia flights...I'm on the inaugural A380 DXB-SYD on 01FEB09...be good to use the terminal.

Looks very similar to Bangkok's new airport...including the near impossible to read small font on Departures/Arrivals screen!

And the windows are not very photo friendly because of a printed mosaic.

Feedback from the trials hasnt been too positive so we'll just wait and see.

Stage 1 of the launch of T3 seems to have gone without a hitch. Stage 2 of the transition will take place on 21Oct with all Middle East and Africa flights shifting over in addition to the current GCC and Americas flights currently leaving from T3. Good to see.
